Common Chaffinch
(Fringilla coelebs)

The hedgerow classic

Common Chaffinches are one of the most numerous songbirds in the Vrsac Mountains, present all year round. In winter and early spring they are regular guests at our feeding hides, while in the warmer months they visit drinking pools and forest edges. Their bold colours and relaxed behaviour make them ideal subjects for bird photographers discovering Vrsac.

Observed in hides: Malo Srediste Waterhole, Malo Srediste Woodpecker Hide.
Seasons of observation: Year round.
Probability observed: Very high.
